Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Audition

Establishing connections with these applications require you to download a 'Satellite Extension'. You can download this directly from the Connections page in Boombox. Once downloaded, run the installer to install it just like a traditional Adobe extension. You can then find the Boombox Satellite extension in the Window -> Extensions menu of your Adobe application. This satellite extension needs to be running (but does not need to be focused) for Boombox to establish a connection. The connection will be established differently, depending on the order of operations:

  • If Boombox is open, then the Satellite extension is opened, the connection will establish automatically.

  • If Boombox is opened after the Satellite extension, you can click the "Connect" button within the Satellite extension.

Once connected, you will see the connections listed in Boombox:

With a connection made, and a sound selected, you will see the new Add, Cue, and Swap actions (and their corresponding keyboard shortcuts) listed in the footer:
